Essential BLK GRL's Story

Our company was birthed out of the overwhelming desire to alleviate my mother’s pain and improve her quality of life. My mother was approaching her seventh year of life and started suffering more aches and pains due to previous traumas, injuries, and other illnesses. In 2018, my mother’s pain and aches got worse and her doctors started prescribing narcotics to help with the pain but she would have adverse side effects. Instead of dealing with those side effects my mother would often just deal with the pain and not take the medication. I felt helpless watching her carry on knowing she was always in pain, though she rarely showed it. It pained me to see her suffering so I started researching natural remedies for relieving pain, inflammation and spasms.

I started experimenting with different essential oils and giving them to my mother to use on her different aches. She told me that the oils provided her with relief but to be honest I didn’t believe her due to her being my mother and the fact that she has always been supportive of me.

In the fall on 2019, my mother’s right hand became swollen and she wasn’t able to remove her rings. Sitting in her bedroom, concerned about her hand, I told her to try one of the oil blends I had created for her to reduce the swelling and relieve the pain it caused. Within 10 minutes, the swelling was gone and she was able to remove her rings. I couldn't believe it. I started making it for my relatives, friends, coworkers to help ease their pain as I had done for my mother and they loved it. After hearing feedback from them, I realized a great product was created out of this labor of love and the results were phenomenal. Our signature product, “Ease Into It” was born.
